‘THE PRINCESS BRIDE: I HATE TO KILL YOU’ Dice Game

Game Salute will publish The Princess Bride: I Hate to Kill You, a new dice-dueling game from their expanding series of titles based on the cult movie classic, in Q3 2016. The game is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter.

A daring dice duel for left-handed players (and those not really left-handed).

Princess Bride: I Hate to Kill You is a quick, but crafty, dice and card game that recreates (and re-imagines) the sword duels from The Princess Bride. Play as the Man In Black, Inigo Montoya, Count Rugen or Prince Humperdinck.

Each player starts with 6 dice and 10 cards. On a turn, both players roll their dice and then play a card which may modify the outcome. The player with the highest total swords scores a hit and must remove a die with a sword on it from their active pool. Some cards will modify their dice, some with modify their opponent’s dice and others will return dice to their active pool. As the tension builds, and players lose more dice and more cards, bluffing (and of course, switching hands) may win you the round. The first player to score 5 hits wins the game.
