   Long enough to remember paying to get into the Harbor to avoid that brutal quest “Butcher’s Path” and what it meant to have XP debt.

   Open Beta December 2005, while living in Japan. I remember going to the Navy exchange the night that DDO launched for Headstart, getting a new monitor, then going to see a friend’s band play at the Officers Club on Base, then going home just in time to set up new monitor and log in when the game went live.

   I think I even have some characters in the lower harbor district still. Before they made it the Inspired Quarter and loved the quests into what is now the Harbor area.

   Now, I haven’t PLAYED continuously for all 10 years, but I was a Beta Tester, so from the beginning. I still don’t play all that often, but it is always one of the first games I install when I work on a new PC or reinstall Windows.
