Paizo Inc., publisher of the award-winning Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, announces today the launch of Pathfinder Worldscape, the new monthly crossover comic series that combines epic sword & sorcery superstars with the world of Pathfinder. Written by Paizo publisher and chief creative officer Erik Mona, with interior art from Jonathan Lau , Pathfinder Worldscape is published by Dynamite Comics and issue #1 releases today.

Dynamite’s fantasy adventure crossover event kicks off as the Pathfinder iconic heroes are drawn into the mysterious Worldscape, where the greatest warriors of Hyboria, Barsoom, Golarion and Earth clash in an ancient battle of life and death, magic, monsters, and mystery. The first issue contains official game statistics for Red Sonja, including a brand new archetype called the Sword-Devil that allows characters to go toe-to-toe with the fiercest combatants, all while wearing no armor. Future issues will provide game statistics for heroes like John Carter and Tarzan, as well as new rules, archetypes, and races for use in any Pathfinder RPG campaign. Each issue also includes a bonus miniatures-scale pullout poster map depicting key scenes or locales from the story.

“I’ve put an enormous amount of time, creative attention, and energy into creating a storyline and game rules worthy of these great characters, I’m ecstatic to see Pathfinder Worldscape come to life and I hope Pathfinder and comic fans everywhere love it as much as I do.” – Paizo’s Erik Mona

Pathfinder Worldscape will also feature limited edition collectible covers by comic superstars Reilly Brown (Deadpool), Tom Mandrake (The Spectre, GrimJack), Sean Izaakse (Pathfinder: Hollow Mountain), and more.

Pathfinder Worldscape is available on newsstands, in local comic shops and on paizo.com today. Through paizo.com’s Pathfinder Comics Ongoing Subscription, subscribers will receive a special limited-edition paizo.com exclusive cover for each monthly release, or all four monthly covers with the Deluxe Ongoing Subscription.
