The Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA) will debut the Rick Loomis Service Award at the GAMA Trade Show in March. The award is named after former GAMA president Rick Loomis who died last month from complications of cancer.
“Loomis made grand contributions to GAMA and to the entire hobby games industry throughout his illustrious career. We believe his legacy will be honored best by recognizing like-minded and like-actioned individuals and organizations,” GAMA said in an email.
The GAMA board will consider nominees for this award and choose recipients on a merit basis.
