Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast has announced a slate of releases for 2025, focusing on dragons and the classic Forgotten Realms setting.
- The Dragon Anthology will delve deeper into the world of dragons, offering players detailed information and 10 short adventures featuring these mythical creatures in dungeons. This book is slated for release in summer 2025.
- The Updated Starter Set is a redesigned introduction to D&D, now featuring the new take on the classic adventure “Keep on the Borderlands.” Perfect for new players, this set is scheduled for release in fall 2025.
- In a major announcement, WotC is returning to the iconic Forgotten Realms setting in 2025. A Forgotten Realms Player Guide and a Forgotten Realms Adventure Guide will be available in late 2025. The Player Guide will allow players to create unique characters tailored to the Realms, with new subclasses, feats, spells, and more. The Adventure Guide will provide DMs with detailed information on various regions of the Realms, including Baldur’s Gate, Icewindale, and classic fantasy-inspired towns.
