WizKids has announced the release of two exciting new miniatures sets based on the popular video game Baldur’s Gate 3. These sets, part of the D&D Icons of the Realms series, will bring iconic characters and creatures from the game to life in miniature form.
Adventures From Baldur’s Gate is a booster set containing 40 miniatures, featuring a diverse range of monsters and characters. This set includes goblins, githyanki, a spectator, and several other familiar creatures. What sets this set apart is its unique designs, which are inspired by the Baldur’s Gate 3 video game rather than the traditional D&D style. Additionally, the set features several monsters exclusive to the game, such as the Slayer of Bhaal, Necromite of Myrkul, and Minthara.
The second product is a Baldur’s Gate 3 – Characters boxed set, featuring pre-painted miniatures of seven of the game’s most popular companions: Astarion, Karlach, Gale, Shadowheart, Wyll, Lae’zel, and Withers. While this set offers a great way to collect your favorite characters, fans may be disappointed to learn that the Dark Urge, the popular dragonborn sorcerer player character, is not included.
