Para Bellum Games Announces the Weaver Courts, the Tenth Faction for Conquest

Para Bellum Games has once again expanded the rich and dynamic world of Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings and Conquest: First Blood with the reveal of their tenth faction: the Weaver Courts.  This new army introduces a mesmerizing blend of natural mysticism and raw power to the tabletop. The release is set to begin in September, with continuous releases scheduled throughout the rest of the year.

A Faction Forged in Nature

The Weaver Courts are a distant relative of the enigmatic Spires, but with a crucial difference. Rather than relying on the brutal science of Biomancy, the Weavers have sought to meld their life energies with the very essence of the world, Ea. Through the mystical practice of Life-Binding, they have formed a symbiotic connection with the elements, plants, insects, and animals around them, creating a truly unique and beautiful aesthetic.

Players can expect a faction deeply rooted in the natural world, with a visual style that stands in stark contrast to the more overtly martial or monstrous armies of Conquest. The Weaver Courts are comprised of four seasonal-themed courts, which will undoubtedly offer a variety of visual and gameplay options for players to explore.

Gameplay and Lore

While specific rules are still being unveiled, the core concept of the Weaver Courts suggests a playstyle centered on natural synergy and the power of the living world. The lore hints at an army that is not just fighting for conquest but is a manifestation of Ea’s own will, bringing a new dimension to the conflict.

This new faction follows the recent release of the Yoroni, a demonic samurai-inspired army, showcasing Para Bellum’s commitment to continuously expanding the game’s universe with fresh and innovative ideas. The Weaver Courts will offer a new tactical challenge for existing players and an exciting entry point for newcomers who are drawn to a more fey and nature-based army.

The Weaver Courts will be available for both Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings (the mass battle wargame) and Conquest: First Blood (the skirmish game), allowing players to experience the faction’s unique flavor across both gaming systems.

Keep an eye out for more details as Para Bellum Games releases further information and showcases the stunning miniatures that will bring the Weaver Courts to life on the battlefield. The world of Conquest is about to get a little wilder.
