Step into the exciting world of D&D with the Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Begins board game! Choose your character and work together along the journey through the lands of Neverwinter, facing fantastic obstacles, battling monsters, and defeating the boss monster terrorizing the realm. The role of Dungeon Master passes from player to player with each turn, so everyone gets to be part of the storytelling.
Players assume the role of a hero, customize them, and then battle their way through the lands of Neverwinter. At the beginning of the game, they choose a journey that will end in a Boss fight with either Felbris the Beholder, Orn the Fire Giant, Deathsleep the Green Dragon, or The Kraken. Then, they adventure until they defeat the Boss, and the hero who dealt the death blow describes their kill and the Dungeon Master reads the story on the back of the Boss monster.
The game box comes with 4 mini-figures, 4 boss tiles, 2 20-sided hero dice, 10-sided Dungeon Master die, damage clip, plastic deck holder, 4 health trackers, 20 hero tiles, 4 dungeon boards, 24 gold, 4 adventure decks, an item deck, 4 reference cards, 8 backpack cards, 4 gatekeeper cards, and a boss stand.
