Sword Coast Legends was supposed to come out on September 8. Then it was delayed to September 29.
Today n-Space and Digital Extremes have announced another delay for Sword Coast Legends. But it’s only by one week for PC, Mac and Linux players.
Sword Coast Legends is now scheduled to launch for PC, Mac, & Linux on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions now scheduled for release in Q1 2016.
Game director Dan Tudge says
The decision to delay the launch of Sword Coast Legends was not an easy one to make, but after receiving feedback from our dedicated community, it became clear that a few more weeks of polish would provide our customers with the best possible experience at launch
After playing in last weekends 2nd Head Start. I for one can say this was much needed. And I applaud them for taking this step to correct things, BEFORE the launch.
Set in the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms setting in locations not far from Neverwinter Nights and Baldur’s Gate, the upcoming game plays a lot like the classic BioWare and Black Isle Studios RPGs with the player in control of a party of four characters. The game features a full fledged single-player campaign as well as a multiplayer mode for Dungeon Masters to direct their own campaigns.
As we previously told you, players who pre-ordered the game will receive the Rage of Demons DLC and access to upcoming Head Start activities.
