WIL WHEATON SUING LEGENDARY/GEEK & SUNDRY

Looks like it was not just “Five Gold And A Party” over at Titansgrave after all..

Back in 2015, Legendary hired Wheaton to create, write, executive produce, and even host Titansgrave and in return he would be paid “$50,000 and 50 percent of the net profit from the series.”

Legendary also held exclusive distribution and promotion rights for the show, but according to The HOllywood Reporter, they were to “’consult meaningfully’ with Wheaton before doing so.”

The complaint filed against Legendary states that this was defied when license agreements were made between Legendary and Hulu, Pluto TV, and Sinclair Broadcasting without even informing Wheaton of this.

Therefore, Wheaton believes that Legendary has made a lot of money from these deals and have neglected to give him his fair share, but according to him, Legendary will not let him audit their books. Wheaton is expecting to get a minimum of $100,000 for damages and wants a court ordered full accounting to be conducted.

So I guess these means we will never a season 2. More as we get it.
