Wizkids will be releasing a new premium statue of Vecna, depicting the lich in golden armor adorned with rubies. The pre-orders for the Dungeons & Dragons: Vecna Premium Statue are open now on the DnDMinis with the eye-gouging (see what I did there)  cost of 262.49 USD, though the actual release date for the item is not currently available.

The official Dungeons & Dragons YouTube channel has also released a video explaining the history of Vecna and showing off the statue in its full glory to celebrate the pre-order announcement.

This statue stands 12″ tall and features the Book of Vile Darkness wedged in his rib cage.

Vecna  was a once-human king and lich from Oerth that ascended to godhood While he was once considered the most powerful lich to dwell on that world,[over the ages he spent in undeath Vecna became maligned across the multiverse, and was considered the scourge of all civilization, best known for two powerful artifacts in the multiverse that drew their power from his undead body: his eye and his left hand. For those that sought these artifacts, accessing their power required vicious acts of self-mutilation, either by gouging out one’s own eye or forcibly removing a left hand. Over the years Vecna’s hand came into the possession of Arkhan the Cruel, lieutenant of Tiamat, while his eye was rumored to belong to Emirikol the planewalker, both of whom spent significant time on Avernus.
