Gen Con Bag Check Officially Arrives For Gen Con 2025 Plus New Exhibit Hall Policy

For years, you’ve spoken, tweeted, and wished upon every stray six-sided die. You’ve navigated the crowded halls of Gen Con, juggling armfuls of newly acquired treasures, wrestling unwieldy wagons, and dreaming of a simpler way. Well, dream no more!

Gen Con is thrilled to announce that your calls have been answered. In 2025, we’re officially introducing on-site bag storage services, thanks to a fantastic new partnership with The Mobile Locker Co.!

We understand the challenges of conquering the Best Four Days in Gaming while managing your growing horde of games, miniatures, and swag. Now, badge-holding attendees can finally liberate their arms and shoulders and move freely through the Indiana Convention Center.

Freedom to Explore, Hands-Free!

This first-come, first-served service allows you to securely store your bags, wagons, and even strollers throughout the day. Need to drop off that massive game haul before diving back into the dealer hall? Want to lighten your load before hitting up late-night events? Now you can!

Here’s the Lowdown:

Cost: $20 per bag or large item (strollers, wagons).
Badge Required: You’ll need to present your valid Gen Con badge at check-in.
Cashless Payment: Be prepared to pay using cashless methods.
Claim Tickets: You’ll receive claim tickets through The Mobile Locker Co.’s system. Pro-Tip: Snap a picture of your ticket as a backup!
Daily Pickup: All items must be retrieved by the end of each day. Items left overnight will incur an additional fee for the following day.
Location: Find the storage area on the second floor of the Indiana Convention Center, in Room 231.
Consolidation is Key: While you can access your items throughout the day, remember that additional charges will apply for checking in new, unconsolidated items (like extra bags, carts, luggage, etc.).

Thursday, July 31 – Saturday, August 3: 9 am – 7 pm
Sunday, August 4: 9 am – 4 pm

Important Update: Exhibit Hall Policy

To further enhance the safety and flow of traffic within the bustling Exhibit Hall (Halls F–K), Gen Con is implementing a policy regarding certain items during hall hours:

The following items are NOT permitted inside the Exhibit Hall during operating hours:

Wagons
Carts
Rolling luggage
Dollies
Hand trucks
Stroller wagons

Please note: Standard occupied strollers are permitted only when a child is present and cannot be used for transporting merchandise.

We understand that some attendees may have accessibility-related needs. Exceptions to this policy can be requested through our Accessibility Services.

Gen Con stated they believe these changes will significantly improve the Gen Con experience for everyone, allowing you to focus on the games, the community, and the unforgettable moments.
