Get Ready to Roll! Gen Con 2025 Event Registration Opens This Sunday, May 18th!

The moment many of us tabletop enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating is almost here! This Sunday, May 18th, at noon Eastern Time, event registration for Gen Con 2025 officially opens. This is your chance to secure your spots in the games, seminars, and special events that will make your Gen Con experience unforgettable!

For those new to the glorious chaos of Gen Con event registration, the key is to be prepared. While it might feel like a frantic scramble for popular events, the smart strategy is to build and submit your Wish List beforehand.

How to Craft Your Winning Wish List:

1. Badge Up! First and foremost, you must have an active Gen Con 2025 badge linked to your gencon.com account. If you haven’t secured yours yet, head over to gencon.com to get it sorted!
2. Explore the Event Catalog: The Event Catalog is already open! Dive in and browse the thousands of events on offer. From epic RPG campaigns and intense board game tournaments to insightful seminars and creative workshops, there’s something for everyone. Take your time to discover what truly excites you.
3. Add to Your Wish List: As you find events that pique your interest, simply add them to your Wish List through the event search tool. Adding your first event will automatically create your Wish List.
4. Prioritize Your Picks: Once your Wish List is built, you can access and modify it by mousing over your account ID on the top right of the gencon.com website navigation and selecting “My Wish List.” This is where the strategic magic happens! You can re-order your events, assigning higher priority to your absolute must-plays.
   • Pro Tip: You can add events that overlap in your schedule to your Wish List. If multiple overlapping events are available when your Wish List is processed, the system will prioritize the highest-ranked event on your list and automatically skip any conflicting events. So, think carefully about your top choices!
5. Be Ready on May 18th! While building your Wish List is crucial, remember that you must submit your Wish List for processing once Event Registration opens at noon Eastern on Sunday, May 18th. Popular events fill up incredibly fast, so being online and ready to submit at the exact opening time can make all the difference.
