Trick-or-Treat Yourself! The DDO Night Revels Haunting Has Begun!
Brave adventurers of Eberron and beyond, grab your Ghostbane Rubies and strap on your spooky hats, because the veil between planes is officially thin! The fiendishly fun Night Revels event has returned!
The Plane of Mabar is spilling its undead guts all over Delera’s Graveyard (located in House Jorasco), turning the place into a glorious, grindable nightmare. This year’s festivities run from October 1st through November 4th.
How to Get Your Ghoulish Goodies!
The name of the game is loot, and the key ingredients are:
- Darkest Chocolate 🍫: Your base currency! Find it in random quest chests on Hard or higher difficulty, and by defeating the special Shadow of Mabar Champion mobs that pop up in quests.
- Night Revels Keys 🔑: Needed to enter the special event Challenge Dungeons. You can find these randomly from the Shadow of Mabar Champions, or in chests, just like the chocolate!
Then, use those Keys to enter the Night Revels Challenges (entrances are in The Crypt in Delera’s Graveyard) to earn the other important ingredients:

Don’t let your Darkest Chocolate and other unique candies spoil! Head to the Night Revels Vendor (in House Jorasco or The Crypt) to trade them in for this year’s hottest haunt-couture and gear!
- New for 2025! Get ready to embrace your inner swamp witch! New rewards include the Hag Queen’s Hat, Hag Queen’s Cloak, and Hag Queen’s Robe! Plus, a shiny new spooky friend: a Purple Reaper Steed mount, and a new endgame item: the Sentient Jewel of the Black Abbot!
- The Classics: Never miss out on the staples!
- Diamonds of Festive Stats: These augment gems stack with almost everything and are always worth grabbing, especially the Festive Constitution one!
- Ruby of Ghostbane: A must-have augment for making sure your low-level weapons can hit all those pesky incorporeal ghosts and reapers!
- Consumables: Stock up on Gloomy Potions of Death Ward and Restoration. Trust us, you will always need these for your lower-level characters!
- Reaper’s Steed: If you don’t have a 100% speed mount yet, this is one of the easiest ways to get one!
Pro Tip for Power-Grinders: These Challenges scale from level 1 all the way to 39! The most efficient way to maximize your ingredient haul is to run them at levels over your character’s current level. Get in there, clear out the creepy crawlies, and fill your bags before the veil closes on November 4th!
