Dark Horse Unveils New ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Ravenloft’ Series

he Mists are rising once again. Just as Wizards of the Coast prepares to chill players with a new horror campaign this summer, Dark Horse Comics has stepped out of the shadows to announce a brand-new tie-in miniseries: Dungeons & Dragons: Ravenloft.

Following the annoucment of  Ravenloft: The Horrors Within, this new four-issue miniseries promises to dive deep into the gothic dread and decaying landscapes that have made the Demiplane of Dread a fan-favorite setting for decades.

A Clash of Titans in a Dying World

The story centers on a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse between two of the setting’s most compelling figures. Written by the talented Amy Chu (Red Sonja, Poison Ivy), the narrative follows the legendary monster hunter Ez d’Avenir.

Ez is on a desperate quest through a crumbling Ravenloft, hunting an elusive undead entity she believes holds the key to saving the realm from total collapse. Standing in her way is the brilliant and cold-hearted Darklord Viktra Mordenheim, the master of Lamordia, who will stop at nothing to thwart Ez’s mission for her own twisted ends.
