Now, he has channeled his decades of tabletop experience into a brand-new, standalone game system designed to push players to their absolute limits.

A World Built on Tales of Woe

In Deathbringer RPG, you won’t be playing flawless paragons of virtue. Instead, players step into the boots of fantasy characters who each carry a heavy “tale of woe.”

The setting is a brutal, unforgiving fantasy world forged from Professor DM’s actual home campaigns. It’s a place where danger lurks in every shadow, resources are scarce, and survival is never guaranteed.

Cheating Death (But at What Cost?)

The most unique and brutal twist? The world is so incredibly deadly that heroes can die up to three times.

The Ultimate Sacrifice: Players will regularly face grim dilemmas where they must choose whether to lay down their lives to die as a legendary martyr.
The Deathbringer Dice: When all hope seems lost and the reaper comes calling, players can utilize special Deathbringer dice—a mechanical lifeline designed to help heroes scrape by and survive another day against impossible odds.
