A Feast for a Tenday: The Official Baldur’s Gate 3 Cookbook Brings Faerûn to Your Table

Fans of Baldur’s Gate 3 will soon have a new way to experience the world of Faerûn beyond the screen. A Feast for a Tenday: The Official Baldur’s Gate 3 Cookbook, written by Andrew Wheeler and officially licensed by Dungeons & Dragons, is set to release on November 3, 2026, as a 224-page hardcover from Ten Speed Press/Penguin Random House.

Inspired by the award-winning RPG, the cookbook features 65 recipes that take readers on a culinary journey through some of the game’s most memorable locations. Accompanying iconic companions such as Lae’zel, Shadowheart, Astarion, Gale, Wyll, and Karlach, readers will travel from the Wilderness Camp to the Underdark, the Shadow-Cursed Lands, and ultimately Baldur’s Gate itself, recreating dishes inspired by the foods and ingredients encountered throughout the adventure.

The menu is packed with recipes that longtime players will instantly recognize. Highlights include Beregost Blue Cheese Soufflé, Garlicky Buttery Potatoes, and a Scotched Owlbear Egg from the Wilderness Camp. Further into the journey, home cooks can prepare Everything Soup, Neverwinter Stew, and Emperor’s Fiddlehead Soup before moving on to hearty meals such as Campfire Pizza, Hearty Dinner, and Sun-Dappled Paella. Desserts and drinks inspired by Baldur’s Gate round out the experience, including Berry Tart, Bex’s Handmade Cookies, Frostkiss Ale, and Turmishan Tea.

What makes this cookbook particularly appealing to fans is its immersive approach. The 65 recipes are organized by camp location and course, allowing readers to follow a progression that mirrors the game’s narrative. Selected dishes are even marked as “Romanceable,” a playful nod to one of Baldur’s Gate 3’s most beloved features. The book also includes original chapter-opening illustrations and 45 full-color recipe photographs designed to bring the world of Faerûn to life at the dinner table.

Andrew Wheeler, known for his work on the Dungeons & Dragons Young Adventurers’ Guides series and other fantasy-themed publications, brings his experience as both a writer and food enthusiast to the project.

Whether you’re planning a themed game night, looking for a unique gift for a Baldur’s Gate 3 fan, or simply want to sample the flavors of the Sword Coast, A Feast for a Tenday: The Official Baldur’s Gate 3 Cookbook looks set to be a worthy addition to any adventurer’s collection.
