@TyLockton

Between 4 toons I did around 20 remnant turn-ins and the results were excellent. 3 curse cleansing cards, one full deck, 3 myth drannor boxes, one upgrade tome (single use +1 upgrade of choice, ie: +1 to +2, all the way up to +7 to +8). I only got stacks of specific curse cards 2 or 3 times, the rest was all better stuff.

  1. Enjoying the show as always.

    Heroclix has a long history of many properties besides just Marvel and DC. The system essentially started with Mage Knight*, which people still play. There are also sets from Pacific Rim, Bioshock, Lord of the Rings, Lone Ranger, the WWE, an Iron Maiden set, Street Fighter, The Orville, and Yu-Gi-Oh. My personal favorite sets over the past decade would be the RIP (Rest In Peace) a full on Monsters set, at least 2 full Star Trek set releases, and 3 (maybe 4?) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets. There is also a full Thundercats set and a full Power Rangers set coming soon ™.

    Nearly everything was fully compatible and tournament legal for play – if they hadn’t been ‘retired’ usually around 2 years after a set release. When playing in-store league play the rules were a little more relaxed and you could pretty much play anything from as far back as 2003 but you wouldn’t be very competitive.

    They also released a set of HorrorClix, which were not compatible with the main game, their dials were all wrong with different colors. BUT, you could get a giant Cthulhu which stood over 16″ tall.

    As for a full on D&D set, why they didn’t do this nearly 10 years ago when they started making both D&D and Pathfinder mini blind-boxes for both WotC and Paizo, who knows. They have released SOME D&D clix already in their “Iconix” series which included 3 sets of 3 figures. Owlbears, Displacer Beasts, and Beholders.
