It’s been awhile, but we told you that Paizo’s role-playing card game, Pathfinder Adventure Card Game was coming for iOs and Android. It’s finally made its way to the those App Stores
Pathfinder Adventure Card Game uses cards to mimic a role-playing game experience including a lengthy campaign, leveling-up, and everything else you’d expect from a regular tabletop RPG. Each character will have their own deck which represents hit points as well as all the equipment, spells, and allies that your characters has picked up along the way. If at any point your deck is exhausted, your character falls. The game is set around The Rise Of The Runelords adventure path.
You will be able to earn in game gold to spend on new adventure paths and new characters. The breakdown of gold earning is not bad really for a Free To Play Game
- Beating scenarios:
- Normal: 100
- Heroic: 200
- Legendary: 300
- Within scenarios:
- Kill a monster: 1 gold
- Kill a henchman: 2 gold
- Close a location: 6 gold
- Adventures and extra characters can be bought with gold:
- Base set characters (Valeros, Lem, Harsk, Ezren, Seoni): 2000 gold each
- Deck C characters (Amiri, Lini, Sajan, Seelah): 4000 gold each
- AD1 (Burnt Offerings): 750 gold
- AD2-6: 4000 gold each
If you don’t want to “Grind” the gold out, you can purchase a “Season Pass” for 25.00 that will give you access to everything the game has to offer.
The game currently supports solo play (You are controlling multiple characters) or pass-and-play.
