Gen Con the Greatest Four Days in Gaming. And we all know that Fantasy Flight Games is one of the biggest gaming companies out there (whose parent company is Asmodee, one of the BIGGEST). Have announced they are teaming up, as Gen Con has announced a multi-year sponsorship deal with Fantasy Flight. I’d say we should all be prepared for a much bigger FFG booth and even more posters and banners all around Gen Con this year if I was a betting man!
Gen Con, the largest and longest-running tabletop game convention in North America, has signed a multiyear Co-Sponsorship agreement with leading tabletop games publisher Fantasy Flight Games for the upcoming 2019, 2020, and 2021 conventions. Fantasy Flight Games, a member of the Asmodee Group, will receive dedicated event space and physical and digital marketing at each convention as a part of the agreement.
“We’re very pleased to be a Co-Sponsor of Gen Con over the next three years. Gen Con is one of the premier events in the tabletop gaming industry, and we’ve enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the convention,” said Aaron Elliot, vice president of marketing for Asmodee North America. “We’re excited to see Gen Con continue to grow and evolve, and we’re thrilled to be a major part of that. We look forward to seeing everyone in Indy this summer!”
Fantasy Flight Games, publisher of an extensive catalog of popular board and hobby games, will also receive additional promotion and logistical support during the convention as part of their Co-Sponsorship package. The company first participated as a Co-Sponsor, the highest level of sponsorship, in 2018.
“Fantasy Flight has been an amazing partner for us, and their presence at the show is a highlight for many attendees,” said Megan Culver, Gen Con’s Senior Director of Sales & Marketing. “We’re proud to have them as a Co-Sponsor for our upcoming three conventions.”
Gen Con returns to Indianapolis August 1-4, 2019.
