Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Back In Development

Guess you really can’t keep a good vampire down.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 which I’d just about given up on, is now set to release next fall, over four years after its initial intended launch.

If you have not been keeping up with the saga of this game, announced back in 2019, with a planned 2020 release date. Publisher Paradox Interactive was so sure it was really coming out (and relatively quickly) that preorders went up in anticipation of the launch.

The company stopped accepting preorders in 2021, when Paradox announced that developer Hardsuit Labs had been replaced by a new, still unnamed studio. That was after leads Brian Mitsoda and Ka’ai Cluney were terminated and senior writer Cara Ellison departed the game in 2020.

Paradox Interactive has announced that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is back in development with Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs’ The Chinese Room.

The news was announced at PAX West a few weeks ago, and it was also confirmed Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be getting a gameplay reveal in January 2024 and a release date in Fall 2024.
