heyo! My favorite quest is Grave Work. Dunno why and can’t explain.
My favorite from the bunch is The Kobolds’ Newest Ringleader, I really like the original quest and this one no diffrent. I actually burrowed the idea to my PnP group and it was great as an adventure for new players to learn the basics of the game. Maybe Ill reunite them again with The Kobolds’ Newest Ringleader😈
Haverdashed.
It’s short. Too bad the reward is low too. But, as we all know, thanks to Yaulthoon, we can’t have nice things… 😁
I’m actually quite enjoying Resurrection Chamber; mostly because it’s been out of the rotation long enough that I didn’t remember it that well, so it feels more fresh and new.
Personally, I’m really enjoying the combination of Night Revels and The Court of Strahd. I can get ambushed at any moment while running the sagas, and occasionally pick up Night Revels keys along the way. Then I can go on an ingredient-farming run!
As for my favorite quest in the event itself, I’d say Hayweird Foundry. Not only does it show the aftermath of the factory exploding, but it also offers a different perspective on the quest. It’s a mix of nostalgia and curiosity.
I like Under New Ravagement as it is simple and doesn’t require protecting anyone.
honestly my favorite part is how casual the event is for the rewards you can earn.
I like haverdashed. Easy, quick, 2 chests even collectable. My cleric loves this event. I just wish the candy would stay 1h/2h cooldown.
I liked Resurrection Chamber best
A little story of my adventure in night revels.
The mist rolling over Delera’s Graveyard didn’t smell like damp earth anymore; it smelled like ozone and old iron.
I stood at the outer gates, my twin blades strapped tight at my hips, testing the grip on my hilts. Mabar was open, and the veil was wearing thin. If I wanted to clear out this twisted circus before the final reckoning, I couldn’t afford to hold anything back.
My first stop was Haverdashed. The shifting sands of the old desert tomb were choked with frantic mummies and sand-scuttling ghouls. I didn’t bother with stealth; I kicked the door in and spun into a relentless blender of steel. Every time a mummy lunged, my blades crossed and tore through linen and bone, clearing the chamber just in time to beat the clock. Right after, I slipped into The Kobolds’ Newest Ringleader, where goblins and kobolds had turned the underground caverns into a mocking sideshow. I danced through their crude traps, darting past spinning blades to hunt down their ringleaders one by one, pocketing every drop of dark chocolate left in the wreckage.
As the night deepened, the corruption bled out into the city streets. The Snitch and the Lich threw me into a labyrinth of shadowy alleys where elite assassins dropped from the rooftops. I parried a dagger thrust with my left hand and buried my right blade straight into a shadow-weaver’s ribs, keeping my footing steady on the slick cobblestones. But things got truly frantic in Under New Ravagement. The undead hordes rushed a narrow choke point, wave after wave crashing against me like a black tide. I planted my boots, caught my breath between swings, and carved a bloody circle around myself until the onslaught broke.
The pressure mounted as I pushed upward into Getting Ahead in Lordsmarch Palace. The once-grand halls were haunted by headless aristocrats and floating arcane eyes. I vaulted over marble tables, ducked under glowing runes of force, and sprinted down the long corridors, slicing through enchanted guards before the palace could lock me inside forever.
Then came the descent into the deep, grinding iron belly of the event.
Hayweird Foundry was a malfunctioning, electrical nightmare of spinning pistons and crackling arc-pylons. I had to time my rolls perfectly between lightning bolts, tearing through clockwork horrors with sparks showering off my armor. That was just a warm-up for Grave Work, a multi-tiered scaffold death-trap where shadow fiends spawned from every turning gear. I climbed and slashed my way upward, my arms burning from the sheer velocity of my strikes.
Finally, I hit the endurance gauntlet: Resurrection Chamber. It was a labyrinth of toxic sludge, crumbling bridges, and relentless waves of elite guardians. My muscles ached, and my healing spells were stretched thin, but I kept moving—clearing pylon after pylon, step by grueling step—until the entire vile complex fell silent.
With every lesser rift shattered and my pockets heavy with rare ingredients, the sky above Delera’s Graveyard tore completely open. The moon vanished behind a shroud of black smoke, and the air turned freezing cold.
It was time for Eternity Unleashed.
The Mabar spectral dragon didn’t just land—it crashed down with a concussive shockwave that rattled my teeth. It let out a deafening roar that shook the tombstones to dust, shrouding the arena in absolute darkness and swarming the field with shadow-adds.
When the beast landed, its massive chest scales heaving with necrotic energy, I didn’t hesitate. I dropped my defensive stance, tapped into every ounce of my Ranger’s adrenaline, and closed the distance. I became a whirlwind of steel under its massive forelegs, my dual blades flashing in the dark as I hacked away at its armored hide.
The dragon reared back, drawing in a breath of pure shadowfire, and I rolled clear just in time to watch the flames scorch the earth where I’d stood a second before. Swatting away the snapping shadow-adds with a quick backhand slash, I leaped back in, driving both blades upward into the beast’s throat as it tried to take flight again.
With one final, desperate thrash, the spectral dragon let out a shriek that fractured the night sky. Its massive skeletal wings shattered into a million glowing shards, and it collapsed into the dirt, dissolving into a pool of fading purple mist.
I wiped the sweat and ash from my brow, sheathed my twin blades, and looked out over the quieted graveyard. The night was finally mine.
